Important Notice
Freight rates and associated fees are subject to change at any time without prior notice. KP Logistics will not be held responsible for customers who fail to review or take note of this advisory.

Additional Charges May Apply:
• A processing fee applies to all shipments (charged per pound).
• A handling fee applies to shipments weighing 15 pounds and over, along with other applicable charges.
• Packages valued over USD $100 will incur a Customs Fee, along with additional charges such as a Brokerage Fee ranging from $6,500–$20,000 per package.
• A re-clearance fee of $4,500 will apply where necessary.
• Shipments exceeding 200 pounds will attract a pallet fee, along with other applicable charges.
• Additional costs may apply beyond the freight rates and fees outlined above.

Terms and Conditions

Each customer will be considered to have read and agreed to our terms and conditions once they open an account with KP Logistics Limited. We also advise account holders to examine the terms and conditions on a regular basis to stay informed of any potential updates. After completing the registration process, each customer will receive our U.S.A. mailing address and a unique mailbox number, where products should always be mailed.
If your shipping address is incomplete, you risk being charged for using an erroneous address or having your goods sent to the wrong recipient. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the merchant properly packages their items for shipping to ensure safe delivery and prevent harm to people, property, or the item.

Frequently Asked Questions

Packages are updates in batches. Once a package has been delivered at the warehouse house , it takes up to 24 hours or by the end of the next day to be updated on the system. If two days have passed and you haven’t received and update , please contact us asap. Also please to double check your address information.

Once delivered at our US address before 2pm your package is expected to arrive in Jamaica within 1 to 3 business days.

KP Logistics has to declare to Jamaica customs the contents and value of each package entering the country through our service. If invoices are not provided, this will result in delays at customs and there is the possibility that the customs officer inspecting the shipment will assign a higher value to your package.

To avoid paying custom duties please ensure that your package value/cost stay below $100usd.

Storage Policy Update

Please review our updated storage policy carefully to avoid additional fees or forfeiture of packages.

Collection Timeframes

  • • High-Value & Box Packages:
    Packages valued at USD $100 or more, as well as all box packages, must be collected within 2 business days before storage fees apply.
  • • Soft & Lightweight Packages:
    Must be collected within 5 days once marked Ready for pickup or delivery

Storage Fees (Applied daily, including weekends and holidays):

  • • Soft packages: JMD $200 per day
  • • Single large boxes: JMD $350 per day

Unclaimed & Auction Policy

  • • Unclaimed packages left in storage for 10 days will be considered abandoned and subject to auction.
  • • Claimed soft packages that remain uncollected for up to 30 days will be auctioned to recover freight and clearance fees.
  • • Claimed boxes and heavy-weight packages that remain uncollected after 14 days will be auctioned to recover freight and clearance fees.

If you have multiple packages ready the first set of ready packages would have to be collected first before others can be released.

We do not accept packages that are shipped without the registered name and correct mailbox number for security reasons. Signing up for our service is free, and the mailbox number you receive should be kept confidential. All packages must match the registered name, and a valid government ID is required upon pickup.
Please note that failure to register and use our Shipping address or use someone else mailbox number will result in an administrative fee of JMD $1,500 (subject to change at any time).

All packages coming through Jamaica Customs are opened and inspected by a customs officer to verify that the invoice matches the contents of the package. They are then resealed using cello tape.

Notice – Unknown Packages

Unknown packages are packages that are shipped without the required courier code (KP Logistics ####) in Address Line 2.

To avoid your package being sent to Unknown, please ensure that you use the complete address provided to you upon registration with the company. This includes:
• Your KP Logistics courier code
• Your assigned mailbox number

Example:
KP Logistics 10001

⚠️ Failure to use the complete address may result in your package being delivered to the wrong address or sent to the Unknown Department.

Process to Retrieve Unknown Packages

1. The customer must provide the following information:
• Delivery slip
• Tracking number
• Full name on the package
• Proof of the address used when ordering
2. Once all required information is submitted, an investigation will be conducted.

3. If the package location is confirmed, the company will submit a retrieval request to the Unknown Department using the information provided by the customer for the package to be shipped to the company.

4. Estimated retrieval timeframe: 2–3 weeks.

5. If the package is not successfully retrieved after one (1) month, neither the company nor the warehouse will be held liable for a refund or replacement of the package.

6. Once the package is physically retrieved, the customer will receive an update via email.

7. Cost to retrieve package:
• $500 JMD for soft packages
• $1,000 – $2,500 JMD for boxes (based on size)

Packages with weights not listed on the rate chart will be rounded up to the next rate. For example: A package weighing 1.2lbs will charged as 2lbs.

If any package is stolen or misplaced while under our care before the storage fee is incurred, you will receive a refund via the payment details provided during purchase or through your bank statement. If the item was purchased at a discounted price, you will be refunded the discounted amount paid, rather than the original cost.

Please be aware that when shipping TVs and fragile items, you do so at your own risk ⛔️.Kindly note that one of our warehouse policies is that we do not inspect televisions, so we cannot verify if they were damaged during transit by the carrier. However, we offer a special wrapping service and inspection for TVs upon request at an additional cost. Please inquire for further details."

Please note that when shipping TVs and other fragile items, you do so at your own risk ⛔. We have a policy in our warehouse where we do not inspect televisions, making it difficult for us to verify if any damage occurred during transit by the carrier. However, we do provide a special wrapping service and inspection for TVs upon request, available at an extra cost. Feel free to reach out for more information. How are unknown packages managed? Unknown packages refer to shipments lacking the courier code specified in the address. It's essential to include all address information, including the courier code (e.g., KP Logistics) and its corresponding number provided by the customer or shipper. Packages missing this information will be categorized as 'Unknown.

All customers shipping with KP Logistics are required to declare the contents of their packages by submitting a complete invoice. This process ensures compliance with customs regulations and protects our customers from fraudulent claims.

What a Complete Invoice Must Include:
1. Order Number
2. Screenshot of Tracking Number from the seller or carrier
3. Description of Items with a detailed cost breakdown
4. Checkout Total showing the final amount paid

Submission Deadline:
All invoices must be submitted once the package arrives at our warehouse but before it reaches Jamaica.

Why Invoices Are Important:
Invoices are not only required for customs clearance but also protect customers by ensuring that packages are only claimed by their rightful owners.

Consequences of Missing Invoices:
• Packages without invoices are more likely to be detained, resulting in a reclearance fee.
• If KP Logistics successfully clears a package from customs without an invoice, the customer is still required to submit the necessary information.
• Packages will not be released until the required evidence is provided.

If package is cleared without invoice, storage fee will still apply after 5 days.

Yes you do. You`re invoice must have; tracking number, payment details and description of items in payment with cost breakdown.

Once package is delivered it takes up to 24 hours to be updated on your account. If not updated with in 36 hours, please reach out to us.

Storage Fees: After 5 days, storage fees will apply:
- Small Packages:$200 JMD per day.
- Single Packages (e.g., boxes): $350 JMD per day.
- Note: Storage fees are applicable even on holidays.
